Description:Responsible for overall sales and service performance of a branch with primary emphasis on lending, deposit acquisition, and non-interest income generation. Provide overall management and leadership for sales and service quality in the branch.

Duties:POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Sales Leadership and Customer Service
a.Responsible for continued reinforcement and leadership toward improving customer service quality by strengthening the execution of the company’s mission and vision and by building stronger relationships with our customers and employees.
b.Responsible for sales and service management within the branch. In addition, provides quality leadership, encouragement and guidance to all branch personnel, while ensuring that customers receive impeccable customer service.
c.Initiate, direct and participate heavily in outside business development.
d.Sell and/or refer Bank’s products and services to customers and prospects.
e.Manage retail and small business loan portfolio by ensuring that all loans for the financial center extended meet the following key performance measures:
1.Profitability
2.Safety
3.Liquidity
4.Growth
5.Productivity
6.Asset Quality
f.Aggressively market non-credit services such as Trust, Wealth Management, Cash Management, Insurance, Merchant, and other related services.
g.Participate in civic, government, professional, business and community affairs, associations and groups to solicit and develop new business. Promote a positive public image in the branch’s community.
h.Manage discretionary pricing of deposits and loans to ensure an excellent return on assets.
i.Exercise executive and administrative control over the functions of the branch office, including implementation of local policy and explanation of company programs, policies and objectives. Assure adherence to applicable compliance and regulatory requirements and laws.

2.Supervisory Activities
a.Ensure adherence to the First Community Bank Way.
b.Responsible for branch staffing to include, goal setting, performance reviews and ratings, salary reviews, promotional transfers, and training and approving attendance.
c.Responsible for coaching members of the branch to ensure maximum performance and attainment of personal goals and improvement plans.
d.Ensure that each staff member receives ample training of new products and procedures.

3.Operational Activities
a.Assist with budget and long-range planning. Review and prepare reports related to branch activity. Ensure that branch audits are in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
b.Maximize operations efficiently by managing non-interest expenses.
c.Coordinate and manage inside and outside maintenance of buildings and grounds.
Qualifications:KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1.Extensive product knowledge for the expected level of selling and cross-selling is required.
2.Ability to provide group leadership and to handle multiple high level priorities under demanding time constraints.
3.Ability to exhibit a warm, friendly, approachable personal style and deal effectively with customers, visitors and employees.
4.Demonstrated proficiency of policies and procedures in order to utilize good judgment in making sound decisions.
5.Strong working knowledge of the daily activities, functions and positions within the branch to be able to assist when necessary.
6.Must demonstrate professionalism in dealing with customers, managers, and coworkers.
7.Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
8.Ability to answer telephones in a professional, friendly and courteous manner.
9.Ability to speak in a clear and understandable manner and write legibly.
10.Ability to read, understand and carry out verbal and written instructions and to request clarification when needed.
11.Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption.
12.Ability to be self-motivated with an outgoing, pleasant, sales-oriented personality.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1.Four year college degree, preferably in business related field or equivalent banking experience.
2.Three to five years of banking experience, preferably retail based.
3.Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer and software skills.
4.Previous lending experience, preferably retail or mortgage based.
5.General accounting and financial concepts knowledge.
